Despite the difficult humanitarian conditions in Gaza, our association continues to implement a variety of relief and development projects to support affected families and ease their hardships. Our efforts have included distributing food parcels, bread, and fresh vegetables, providing cash assistance, and supplying clothing, blankets, and mattresses. We have also supported the shelter sector through the distribution of tents and essential living supplies. In addition, we continue to implement orphan support, educational, and community care projects, striving to bring hope and assistance to those most in need.

The Tent Project in Gaza… A Humanitarian Initiative Offering Hope and Shelter Amid Suffering

The housing sector in the Gaza Strip is among the hardest-hit sectors amid worsening humanitarian conditions, particularly following the 2023 war on Gaza, during which thousands of homes were completely or partially destroyed, leading to the displacement of vast numbers of residents and the loss of their homes.

Hundreds of thousands of families were forced to seek refuge in temporary shelters, such as schools and public buildings managed by international agencies, primarily UNRWA. However, these centers suffer from severe overcrowding, with multiple families sharing a limited space, and a lack of privacy and basic services such as clean water, sanitation, and electricity.

Others have resorted to setting up tents or makeshift shelters in open areas, lacking the bare necessities for a decent life, which exposes them to the dangers of harsh weather, whether the cold in winter or the heat in summer. The suffering of the displaced is exacerbated by the scarcity of relief supplies, such as blankets, mattresses, and basic building materials.

The housing crisis is exacerbated by the widespread destruction of infrastructure and the difficulty of bringing in the building materials needed for reconstruction. Furthermore, the difficult economic conditions prevent many families from renting alternative housing, even when it is available.

The effects of this crisis are not limited to material aspects alone, but extend to psychological and social dimensions, as displaced persons live in a state of anxiety and instability, particularly children who lack a sense of security. Overcrowding and poor sanitary conditions also lead to the spread of disease, further complicating the humanitarian situation.

In light of these challenges, there is an urgent need for immediate international support to provide adequate and sustainable housing solutions, including the construction of temporary housing units, the provision of emergency aid to displaced persons, and the development of plans to rebuild what has been destroyed by the war. Ensuring the human right to safe housing is a fundamental right that must be realized, especially under these harsh conditions.

The Fasting Breakfast Project in Gaza – Let’s Be the Reason for Feeding the Hungry and Spreading Compassion in Times of Hardship

The Fasting Breakfast Projects in Gaza are among the most prominent humanitarian initiatives that alleviate the suffering of needy families during the month of Ramadan. Amid difficult economic conditions, thousands of families rely on these projects to secure a decent breakfast after a long day of fasting. Charitable organizations and volunteers prepare and distribute meals or food baskets, fostering a spirit of mutual support and solidarity within the community. The impact of these initiatives extends beyond meeting basic food needs; they also give those fasting a sense of hope and care, embodying the values of compassion and generosity in their truest form.

The Clothing Project in Gaza… Human Warmth Alleviates Harsh Conditions and Restores Dignity to Needy Families

Gaza’s residents are facing a severe clothing crisis, as obtaining even the most basic necessities has become difficult amid harsh economic conditions and the ongoing blockade. Many families are forced to reuse old clothes or pass them down among their children, while rising prices prevent them from buying new ones. As the seasons change, the suffering intensifies, especially in winter, as many lack warm clothing. This crisis affects not only material well-being but also human dignity and a sense of security, making the provision of clothing an essential part of humanitarian efforts to support the people of Gaza.

The Qurbani Project in Gaza… Joy Reaching Homes and Bringing Happiness to Hearts on Eid

The Eid al-Adha sacrifice projects in Gaza are among the most important humanitarian initiatives carried out during Eid al-Adha, as they help alleviate the suffering of poor and needy families. Amid difficult economic conditions, these projects provide fresh meat to thousands of families who may not be able to afford it throughout the year. Charitable organizations and donors slaughter the sacrificial animals and distribute them in an organized and equitable manner, reinforcing the values of solidarity and compassion among community members. The impact of these projects extends beyond food security; they bring joy to people’s hearts and reassure them that they are not alone in facing difficult circumstances.

Together, we bring joy to the orphans of Gaza and sow the light of the future in their hearts.

The care of orphans in the Gaza Strip is one of the most pressing humanitarian issues that has painfully come to the fore in recent years, especially following the 2023 war on Gaza, during which the number of children who lost one or both parents rose to unprecedented levels. This reality has created an urgent need for sponsorship programs that ensure these children a dignified life and a more stable future.

Estimates from international organizations such as UNICEF indicate that there are tens of thousands of orphans in Gaza, many of whom live in harsh conditions marked by poverty, food insecurity, and a lack of healthcare and education. In light of these challenges, orphan sponsorship is a vital means of providing financial and emotional support to these children, helping to cover their basic needs such as food, clothing, education, and healthcare.

Numerous charitable organizations and humanitarian institutions, both local and international, implement orphan sponsorship programs by providing monthly assistance to foster families or institutions caring for these children. Some programs also include psychological and social support, given the trauma children experience from losing their parents and living in an unstable environment.

Despite the importance of these efforts, they face significant challenges, most notably limited funding relative to the growing need, difficulty in accessing some affected areas, and the general deterioration of economic conditions. Furthermore, the persistence of crises increases the pressure on these programs and threatens their sustainability.

Foster care for orphans is not limited to financial support alone; it extends to creating a safe environment that fosters the child’s sense of belonging and stability, and provides them with the opportunity for healthy psychological and social development. True foster care seeks to empower children to become selfreliant in the future through education and vocational training.

Under these circumstances, the care of orphans in Gaza remains a collective humanitarian responsibility, requiring concerted international and local efforts to ensure the continuity and expansion of support, thereby guaranteeing these children their right to a dignified life and hope for a better future, despite all the challenges they face.

The Food Parcel Project in Gaza… A Gift That Fills Tables and Eases Hardship

The food sector in the Gaza Strip is facing a severe humanitarian crisis, considered one of the most serious consequences of the ongoing blockade and difficult economic conditions, which has worsened significantly since the outbreak of the 2023 war on Gaza. The population suffers from a severe shortage of basic foodstuffs, coupled with an unprecedented rise in prices, making securing daily food a daily challenge for thousands of families.

A large segment of Gaza’s population relies on food aid provided by international organizations such as the World Food Programme and UNRWA, with estimates indicating that more than half of the population suffers from food insecurity to varying degrees. As supplies dwindle and the import of goods becomes increasingly difficult, this aid is no longer sufficient to meet growing needs.

Agricultural production has been severely affected by the destruction of farmland, water shortages, and rising costs of agricultural inputs such as seeds and fertilizers. Restrictions on fishermen’s movements have also negatively impacted the fishing sector, leading to a decline in the sources of animal protein available to the population. As a result, dietary diversity has declined, and malnutrition rates have increased, particularly among children and women.

In addition, deteriorating economic conditions and rising unemployment have reduced households’ purchasing power, making even available goods unaffordable for many people. Humanitarian reports indicate that many families are forced to reduce the number of daily meals or rely on foods of low nutritional value

The Medical Treatment Project in Gaza… Hope for Healing Eases Pain and Restores the Pulse of Life

The healthcare sector in the Gaza Strip is facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis, which has been greatly exacerbated by the ongoing blockade and repeated military operations, particularly since the outbreak of the 2023 war on Gaza. The destruction of infrastructure and the shortage of resources have pushed the health system to the brink of collapse, with hospitals under immense pressure far exceeding their operational capacity.

Hospitals in Gaza suffer from a severe shortage of medicines and basic medical supplies, compounded by prolonged power outages, which threaten the lives of patients, especially those dependent on life-support and intensive care equipment. Medical staff are also working under extremely harsh conditions, forced to treat large numbers of wounded and injured patients with extremely limited resources.

According to World Health Organization reports, many health facilities have been put out of service as a result of direct targeting or collateral damage, which has seriously reduced the health system’s capacity. Furthermore, the spread of infectious diseases and malnutrition, particularly among children, is further complicating the health situation and placing an additional burden on the already strained sector.

The crisis is not limited to physical aspects alone, but extends to mental health, as the population—especially children—suffers from severe psychological trauma resulting from the loss of loved ones and constant exposure to fear and destruction. With limited mental health support services, this suffering often remains invisible yet has a profound impact.

Under these circumstances, there is an urgent need for immediate international intervention to support the health sector in Gaza by providing medical supplies, rehabilitating hospitals, and ensuring safe and continuous access to humanitarian aid, thereby helping to save lives and alleviate the suffering of the population.

Amid the difficult circumstances faced by the people of Gaza, our association continues to implement a project to teach the Holy Quran to children and young people, with the aim of instilling religious values and strengthening the connection between generations and the Book of Allah. The project offers educational sessions led by specialized teachers within a safe educational environment that encourages learning and fosters positive morals and behavior. The project seeks to support children psychologically and spiritually, offering them a space of hope and stability amidst daily challenges, so that the Quran remains a guiding light that accompanies them and builds their future through faith and knowledge.

In light of the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the people of Gaza, our organization is implementing a cash assistance distribution project to support the most vulnerable families and enable them to meet their basic needs with dignity. The project aims to alleviate the financial burdens faced by affected families, particularly given the high rates of poverty, displacement, and loss of income.

Cash assistance is distributed through a structured mechanism that ensures support reaches those who are eligible, helping families provide for food, medicine, and essential daily needs. This project is part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to promote human solidarity and support the people of Gaza as they face these difficult circumstances.

In light of the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the people of Gaza, the bread distribution project stands as one of the most important relief initiatives contributing to providing basic necessities for affected families. The project works to distribute fresh bread daily to displaced and needy families, aiming to ease their suffering and provide dignified meals that preserve their dignity amid the ongoing crises.

This project also contributes to supporting food security for families, especially children and the elderly, while reflecting the spirit of solidarity and humanitarian compassion. Every loaf of bread delivered to a family in need carries a message of hope and mercy, reminding them that kindness still exists despite all the challenges.

In light of the difficult living conditions faced by families in Gaza, the vegetable distribution project aims to provide essential food supplies to affected and displaced families. The project works to distribute baskets of fresh and diverse vegetables to help improve food security and ease the daily burdens on families in need.

This project is considered an important step in supporting the health of children and the elderly by providing fresh food that helps them cope with harsh living conditions. It also reflects the values of solidarity and compassion, giving families a sense of care and hope amid the ongoing challenges.

The toilet construction project in Gaza aims to improve the health and living conditions of displaced and affected families by providing safe and hygienic sanitation facilities. This project helps meet a basic humanitarian need, preserves dignity, reduces the risk of disease, and contributes to creating a safer and healthier environment for vulnerable communities.

The Family Relief Project aims to provide comprehensive support to vulnerable families by covering their essential needs, including food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and other basic necessities. This project helps ease the burdens faced by families living in difficult conditions, promotes stability and well-being, and ensures that they can live with dignity and greater peace of mind.

The Winter Blankets and Mattresses Distribution Project aims to support vulnerable and displaced families during the cold winter season by providing warm blankets and mattresses. This initiative helps families meet their basic comfort and protection needs, reducing the hardships caused by severe weather conditions and contributing to a safer and more dignified living environment.
